Alison Dunlap
Alison began racing as a freshman at Colorado College after
being cut from the women’s soccer team. After winning the Collegiate
Nationals her senior year she decided to delay graduate school and
give the racing thing a try.
After racing in the Atlanta Olympics as a
road racer Alison switched to mountain biking. Since then she has been to a
second Olympics in Sydney, Australia, won the UCI MTB World Championships, the MTB World Cup,
and 13 National Championships.
After retiring from racing last year Alison has been able to spend more time growing her company,
The Alison Dunlap Adventure Camps. She and her husband run mountain bike skills clinics and
camps in Colorado Springs, Denver, and Moab. Alison has also been coaching for over a year
and works with both road and mountain bikers.
